RP has cancelled recruiting trips to Florida State and Miami. "He is now making it a 2 horse race".

    Could it B?

Yep its true. RP said it was great with Miles and that they watched some film at their house and talked while RP's mom cooked for them...

Yea but he cancelled those visits this morning, not necessarily because of Miles' visit. Still good news nonetheless.

Two more teams we don't have to worry about. I am still excited about the possibilities this guy can bring to the table. He may redshirt next year if Russell plays well over spring practice, but I guarantee if RP comes to LSU he will be the #2 if not #1 QB.

I may be biased, but RP will start over Russell next year...

    He is that good...

I mean did JaMarcus Russell dominate the High School All America game when he was a HS SR? NO!

    RP can do everything

Russell was as highly touted as Ryan. Sometimes you just never know till they get to the next level. Russell if he gets time can be great. Look at Or. St. and Iowa. Whether we get Ryan or not we will be O.K. But I would like to get him.

This is very good news. It may be falling into place with him and I think he has a VERY good chance to come in here and shine early. Our current situation is pretty good but this would improve the QB spot in many, many ways.

For what its worth, JaMarcus dominated his High School All-Star Game, the Alabama-Mississippi High School All-Star Classic. Not the same thing as the All-American Bowl, but he literally destroyed the Miss. team by himself.
