Damn! I was thinking about that when I watched them dogpile last Sunday. I hope its not true. This morning's Advocate said Mestapey was the game one starter.

Was WAFB one of the orginial outlets to report Barrington Edwards being off of the team? I would also think that if he injured his shoulder on Sunday, Smoke would have known about it prior to naming him the starter.

sooner or later, something like this was bound to happen. for a team like LSU who's goal is to win the CWS, the dogpile should be a celebratory ritual after you win the CWS. act like you been there before. it's like the whole storming the field and tearing down the goal posts thing after a big win. poor mestapey was probably at the bottom of that pile.

not a joke....Smoke told Morris last night. Also, his neck/shoulder and ankle are hurt and he is day to day. Bumstead named starter.

So anyone know if there's a possibility he could pitch in a later game of the CWS?
