    Poll: What was Saban's cause?

Me, I think the $1,000,001.00 wasn't enough for him.

7 year $18.75 Mil. doesn't not equal $1M. Check your math.

$5M/yr.? That's nice jack. No personal ties to La. Hmmm...opportunity to succeed at the highest level? Hmm....

Lots of reasons, just a bad day to leave, imho.

True enough, and sorry about the misquote on the money. After the game last year they said in his contract that if he won the National then he would get $1 more than any other SEC coach. (Steve Spurrier - 1 mil)

Power, Ego, to be Number One in the Big Leagues. But never, ever think it is not about the money. This ain't communist China we are living in. This is a capitalistic society, and money does matter. All I'm asking for is a little honesty and better time. Come on, using Christmas Day as a platform to make an announcement is just plain wrong.

Time to move on. Who's the next Coach?

Err.. "it is not about the money" doest not make sense to me. I think that it is all about the money. You can afford really 'nice' stuff if you get 4.5-5 mil/yr
