Anyone catch the block that Trindon had on the opening kickoff? Another thing that made my jaw drop was late in the game. Auburn completed that long past on the blown coverage. Our defender had amazing closing speed. Seemed like he ran 30 yards to the Auburn players 15 or so and made the tackle. Who was that?

Agreed. But Jerdan-Hare has been tougher to win in.

Hawkins, just heard CLM talking about it on the radio while addressing the media. Hawkins and another player shared Def player of the game awarded by the coaches.

Same here. It happened right next to there bench, but it was obvious that Kirsten Pittman arrived simultaneously with the release of the ball. To make matters worse, when they showed the reverse angle of the play, there was a yellow piece of paper on the field which I thought was a flag and about came unglued until I realized what it was.

Haha! Same thing happened to me. Considering the situation, being in JH, with everything on the line, I nearly had a coronary. But alas, it was probably some scrap of paper from one of our very own fans. I mean, wtf else could it have been?

I hear that he kicked that with his left foot...that he does it every day in practice and it's consistently 10-15 yards, yet it looks like a real kickoff right up until the point when he kicks it. I haven't watched the replay yet to verify, but if that's true then opposing teams are going to have to keep that in their heads from now on.
