If they want to sell gold tshirts they should make a special one for the game. sell it at cost plus a couple of bucks and split the proceeds between the athletic department and some worthy charity. I'd be all for that.
What makes me made is the people who go to LSU games wearing other teams gear. I see students in the student section with Michigan, Yankees, and Red Sox Hats on. If you go to an LSU game, wear LSU stuff. Nuff said
You may be in luck. Last year they had shirt's for the UGaly game and the dog that came with you type deal and the AU game celebrating the eathquake game.
White, purple, or gold . . . I don't care, it all looks good. I just hope we never, and I mean never ever, have a black-out game. Nothing looks worse than when SoCar fans wear all black in the stands. It doesn't look cool, and worse at night it appears no one is at the game. And if you are a student . . . just buy the game tshirt. When you graduate and are miles away from LSU, on gameday you will be looking for a tshirt to wear and you will notice that you didn't buy enough of these cheap gameday tshirts. I still have some left over from my days at LSU, but I can tell you I don't own nearly as many as I would like.
to the person wondering why he never sees purple, its because its purple and dark and unnoticeable although there's plenty there with it on. thats why they are requesting gold since it stands out much more. if the university requests it, Im all for it. another reason to wear that gold baseball jersey.
I personally like looking out in Tiger Stadium and seeing Purple, Gold, and White. I don't know what it is, but it looks great to me! Furthermore, I've had a purple gameday shirt that I've worn the past two seasons that I just can't bring myself to not wear. I might not be able to make the game anyway :bncry: (broken foot and on crutches). But you can bet I'll be in Baton Rouge for gameday!!!
