What do all of these signs on gameday and on message boards that say things like

"Tebow wears Snead Pajamas" or "Richt wears Saban Pajamas"

    mean?

I cant seem to figure this one out. Im out of the loop. Care to fill me in?

    Carface What the...?

It started with "Superman wears Tebow pajamas". You know, instead of a kid wearing Superman pajamas...

Vandy had some good signs for gameday:

4 and 0 it's not just our GPA anymore

Best in SAT's Best in SEC

Phil Fulmer ate my other signs

Some were too obscure, or maybe they are just too smart for me!

I liked "The Nerds will take over the turf" and "I got my GED at Auburn"

Didnt see it, but read it on here or another forum that they had one that said something like

"Move out of the way Gameday, you're blocking the library"

I think I saw that sign.... I thought it read "the nerds shall inherit the turf"

I thought that was what it said but didn't think "inherit" made sense (because no-one is giving it to them. Unless they mean team are allowing them to win...) I just assumed I remembered it wrong. You are correct, it said inherit.

i suppose its a play on words--'the meek shall inherit the earth'.

it shoulda said the geeks shall inherit the turf.

    StadiumSalute It's Gameday!

Which came from the Chuck Norris joke "Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas"

The one I saw was a guy holding it in the stands on the first row. It said "the geeks shall take over the turf".

Inherit would make sense though. It is a play on words. Mathew 5:5 says "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth". Contrary to popular belief, meek doesn't mean weak. It means strength under control; humble strength.
