    Oregon 152, Minnesota 130, Auburn 117, Clemson 87, Iowa State 87, Penn State 49, West Virginia 44, Colorado 37, N.C. State 25, TEXAS AM 22, Toledo 15, Utah 9, New Mexico 9, UTEP 8, Vanderbilt 8, Fresno State 7, Oklahoma 4, Bowling Green 3, Wyoming 2, Air Force 1.

    DROPPED FROM RANKINGS
    Oklahoma 17, Clemson 23, Fresno State 25.

Nothing too surprising there. UT dropped to 11, Arizona rose to 17th, and LSU didn't drop. Vandy got 8 votes, anyone think they will be ranked by the time we play :hihi:
  2. I just can't believe I'm seeing a football poll where Vandy is ahead of OU!!! :hihi:
  3. So a 3-0 Michigan State team is ranked behind a 2-1 Notre Dame team who they just beat on their home turf.
What a joke these polls are.
  4. So a 2-1 OSU (who lost at home and struggled with SDSU) is ahead of a 1-1 Tenn. who lost on the road at the swamp. That is why preseason poll are ridiculous. They give teams an inherent advantage to start high. Unless they completely tank like OU then they will be ranked all year. uscpuke's point rings so true as well. Just because Notre Dame is ranked higher they stay ranked higher than the team that just beat them at home. It wasn't like Michigan State's win was fluky either. They were up by 21 on the Irish at one time. They completely dominated the game for three quarters.
  5. Bama is still flying under the Radar @ number 20.
  6. So you're saying TCU should be ranked ahead of OU?

I hate preseason polls too--for reasons we probably agree on (and that's its an unfair advantage to those ranked ahead of you), but we just have to live with it I guess.
  7. Quite possibly. What exactly has OU done? They got throttled by UCLA, lost to TCU and barely pulled it out against Tulsa. So TCU has a better record and beat OU on their home field.
  8. ND being ahead of MSU is quite sad
  9. And... Tennessee could have been a little more impressive against UAB to win the "I should be ranked higher" argument.

    They weren't, so they aren't.
  10. Don't forget about Iowa State throttling Iowa a week ago. Look at where they are. Also, notice where Michigan and Notre Dame are ranked. Didn't one beat the other just one week ago?
