I could only come up with Stoops' brother at Arizona, Mack Brown (he needs to try to hype OU up after the Horns kick their butts) and possibly Bowden or Spurrier (where did Stoops coach before OU?) ...ugh, and Stoops himself.
I don't know if I buy VTech being in front of Florida. Florida gains 1 spot after beating a #5 team and Vtech has played anybody. Sure Vtech has a good defense and shut out Duke and Ohio. Oooohh! Florida almost shut out Tenn. As much as I hate to say rank Florida higher, I think they should be ahead of Vtech. Also, considering LSU only played one game and got a lucky win, I think Florida should be ahead of us, at least until will bring UT behind the wood shed next week. If we handle UT next week, we should jump Texas. If our defense shuts down UT we should definitely jump UT.
Vtech has great defense year in and year out. Granted, past years performances should not influence polling. But they appear to be rolling right along. The ACC is theirs.
Thankfully neither are in the top 10, or top 25 for that matter. All I am saying is right now TCU should be ranked higher with a better record and having beat them. Enough about them, they both suck.
Not. A. Chance. Texas went on the road and beat #4 (at the time) Ohio State. No way in hell do we jump the Longhorns this week even if we beat the #11 ranked team at home.
