Whoa, 2 of the best defenses and the country & he expects their to be 55 points scored? VT better hope for some special teams play to put up 17 points on us, because their offense won't get them that. I also don't see LSU scoring 38 points. This will be a defensive battle, so I expect us to play conservatively on offense.
If we throw the ball 10 more times than we did against MSU it will still be conservative. The playcalling was middleschoolish in game one. We can't dumb it down any more than that. Hopefully we call over the top early and often to get this one out of hand.

And risk turnovers? We can't risk turnovers because good field position is the only way they are going to score. We're going to play conservatively & take what the defense gives us because we probably only have to put up 14 points to win this game.
That's just it. I don't see their defense giving us much of anything. We are going to have to take it by backing them off the line.
Crowton's offenses aren't known for going deep... they have 2 awesome CBs (maybe better than our duo). I just don't see us testing them early or often.
