We're not gaining ground quick enough in that one... last week was LSU 6.601 and USC 6.771.

We went from .17 behind to .085 ... I would think beating the #5 ranked team in their poll would vault us ahead of USC.

Strenght of schedule again. The Florida, LA. Tech, and Alabama losses hurt us.

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Also, we've gained a bit of ground in the Billingsley Index... we were some 8 points behind USC and now we're just about 3 points behind... If I was a USC fan, I wouldn't be booking flights and hotels just yet....

Georgia being 5th in the Wolfe poll helps a lot and guarantees us getting 2nd.

We are projected to get 2nd in each of these polls.....Wolfe, NYTimes, and Billingsley. Don't worry that we are 5th in NYTimes. NYTimes promotes recent results and SOS very strongly, and LSU has all that on their side by beating GA. I just hope Michigan can someone take 3rd and USC go to 4th. It's hard to say since this is one of the stranger polls.

Looks like Georgia has more than decent chance at finishing 6th in BCS before they play us.....just sounds that much better than being 7th for LSU's sake. I predict they overtake Texas. I just wish Ohio State would have lost a media poll spot this week to Tennessee so that Georgia would have gone up to 5th spot. But we all know Tennesseee didn't deserve to move up after that horrible performance.
