Back to football.... I still have not heard why we will play West Virginia if we win the SEC. The Sugar has a tie to the #1 SEC team. The Orange has a tie to the Big 12. The Rose of course is BCS #1 vs #2, which are from the PAC 10 and Big 12. It would seem then that Penn State (Big 10), Virginia Tech (ACC), West Virginia (Big East), Notre Dame (Ind) and probably Ohio State (as the highest ranked BCS Conference runner-up) all could go anywhere. Why does the Fiesta get Notre Dame vs Penn State? Why not Penn State vs West Virginia in the Fiesta, and LSU vs Notre Dame in the Sugar? Does the Fiesta carry mote clout? They pay about the same. I just don't get it. And yes, it reminds me of LSU vs. Illinois in the 2002(?) Sugar Bowl. Boring!!!
fiesta has big 12 tie in, and since TX will go to rose they get to replace with their choice. then, the bowls select by order which has sugar last. most are predicting WV is left over.
