Well one of those guys is right when he said "I guess I don't know football" claiming it wasn't interference. I remember the play the CB clearly grabed our WR arm as he ran his route.
On the 1st it was clearly holding, should have been a 5 yard call but automatic 1st down. On the 2nd one (the one they’re complaining about) he clearly grabbed his arm, how can they not see that? Idiots.
Is it me but did the refs not review that supposed non catch that was a catch and a fumble in the first quarter? I replayed that and I didn't see an official review, am I wrong?
no, don’t think it was reviewed. and in grand scheme, would not have changed anything as there was no clear recovery. so even if LSU came away with ball at bottom of pile, because there was no clear recovery prior to the scrum, they wouldn’t have given us possession. and with the play happening at line of scrimmage, end result would not have changed.
The defensive backs for Auburn were holding, getting in the face, and mauling our receivers as the ball was in the air all game. They skirted lots of probable calls. So, the one they got was not the best time for them. It was only one that was finally called. The refs let MANY go.
