Losing Trey Hendrickson must be a bigger deal than we thought if they go DE in first, and most first reaction was it was a reach. Most thought he was late 2nd early 3rd range... They always make bold moves, and sometimes it works out. But there has been some pretty big failures. We will see.
I agree, lots of people seem to think he might have been available when we come up in the 2nd round. The good news is he projects as a guy who can play inside or outside. We've had the deepest line in the league the last two seasons and that advantage got clobbered in free agency. A duel position player helps restore some of that. We still have to find a starting cornerback and upgrades at WR and LB though.
Maybe we can get Aaron to come down, not sure where we find the money to do that. But a man can dream.
