1. She said that he has not commtted to LSU. He is considering LSU, Kansas, and Baylor. She said it is his choice on where to go, and that any of the three schools would be fine with her, but she would love it if he went to a school close to home.
  2. today:

There is no late breaking news to report on 6'9", forward Darrell Arthur from South Oaks Cliff high school in Dallas. Arthur and his mom will be visiting LSU this weekend. There are also growing reports that Scottie Reynolds (6'0") from Herndon, Virginia, will be visiting LSU the first week in May if Arthur commits to LSU on his visit.

  7. There was a column in the sports section of the paper here today about recruits for OU asking to be released from their LOI's. It talked about where they would go if they decided not to go to OU. While Damion James, Scottie Reynolds, and Jeremy Mayfield say they haven't definitely decided against playing for OU, even if granted a release, the speculation has already started on where they would go. This is what the paper had to say on odds about where they would go:

I like that thought. I hadn't even considered the possibility of James switching to LSU, but that would be a great steal. Although, I will be more than happy if LSU lands Arthur and Reynolds.
  8. Success breeds success.

Let's not get our hopes up too high though.
