1. Haven't heard his name mentioned. Has a very solid program. Just curious about his demand or lack of it. Just a thought. Just curious about everyone's thoughts on him.
  2. I think he likes VT and wouldn't leave, he has had many opportunities to leave.
  3. I think he would be a great hire but the chances of stealing him from VA Tech are slim to none.
  4. Just like Texastiger and JVincent25 alluded to, I don't think Beamer would be interested in leaving VT. Outside of winning a National Championship, they're where we are--and probably are a little more intrenched as a "national power" than what we are.

Beamer completely built VT up, and could probably run for mayor of Blacksburgh. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, he's compensated very well. Obviously not as high as Saban and Stoops, but I'm pretty sure he's up there.
  5. i'd hire him as special teams coach. beyond that, no. his teams fade worse than the BoSox in October minus this year. No way in hell I want scarface. good coach, not LSU caliber.
  6. HEY!!!!! You just watch it right there, buddy!!!! :cuss:

    ;)
  7. He's not gonna leave there for awhile....I like him though...he's a good guy.
  8. Im not so soure about that. If memory serves, he was interested last time the job was available. Of course, my ole memory isn't what it used to be.
  9. If Beamer were available I would take him over all other candidates in a heartbeat, what he has done up there is nothing short of amazing.
  10. My Trev Alberts-like prediction..... Beamer stays at VT until he retires ( 4 or 5 years) and in steps Nick Saban to take his place, after he realizes the NFL experience ain't all it's cracked up to be.
