I'm only for the BCS system in years that it favors LSU, in all other years I am an advocate for a playoff system.

This is exactly why I hate the BCS. Every year, the scenarios seem to concentrate more on which teams were screwed rather than which teams could potentially play for the championship.

NCAA, give the fans what they want: P-L-A-Y-O-F-F-S!!!

But, then the 9th team (provided it's an 8 team playoff) will be crying "why didn't we get in?" and it'll probably be Mark Richt or Pete Carroll that'll be quoted.

That's why I call for the simplest of changes, a 4 team playoff. I would be content with that.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

That is a ridiculous argument. If there is a 4 game, 8 team playoff, everyone knows the rules up front. There is no subjectivity regarding 0.2 pts from a computer poll type crap that creeps in, so I do not believe anyone will be "crying". It's like any other sport, teams will just miss the playoff, but they will know that it was a lack of some accomplishment on their part that did not allow them to get to that pre-set threshold, not subjectivity. Those are big upfront differences.
