    oh obviously its a vibration dampener for a wharblozzer. goes right on the tip of the flurncrankel.

    I'm thinking Martin is right. It's like the feet on my old Technics SL-1200 turntables that isolated the turntable from the vibration of the sound system, except tiny. Maybe used in disc drives?

    I used to sell Clippard Minimatic cylinders. Their smallest was a 5/32" bore. Looks just like it.

    Close enough. It is some doowobbly that cuts down reverb in circuit boards. I will post the link to the website when I get back home. If I still have one.
