    yep.

    more appropriately known as an egg topper. to cut the top off of soft or hard boiled eggs.

    side note, when i was a kid, my grandmother had a pair that looked more like this...

    they went with a set of little egg cups that looked like little yellow chicks. i dont know whatever happened to the scissors, but after she died i did get the remaining two egg cups. they bring back very fond memories of my childhood.

    I was actually being a smart-ass because I know someone who has a pair of pizza scissors. Something I put high on my list of stuff-I-don't-need.

    lol! i dont care who goes next. oh, and i dont have any either. but i would have liked to have had my grandmother's for sentimental reasons.

    there sure are some "specialized" egg gadgets out there!

    copper coil can indicate a heating component of some sort. For an A/C Unit or water heater perhaps. But that doesn't seem real easy so I'm probably way off.

    It's used for gas. Not sure, either water heater or a stove.
