A gauge for sure, but not a stamp gauge.

Some kind of gauge, but it could measure anything. The two sliding pieces are obviously to size a small part, but the one with the pointer is curious. It doesn't seem to be a vernier scale. I can't imagine how it would help. But maybe it measures something else and it is just on the same tool.

Too small for feet, unless its for babies or something. Can we get some dimensions @CajunlostinCali ?

The gauge might be one found in a jewelers shop.

I might have said too much?

Then it measures watch parts or something else that is small. It's not a ring sizer.
