    i know this thing. you put it in your pc case in various places, depending on the size of the motherboard, so cases can fit atx and mini atx and whatever. it screws in and you mount the motherboard on top it it, slightly above the side of the pc case.

    if it were turned the other way (as in flipped upside down) it looks like the part that holds grain or whatever in a counter balance scale. but on second thought, cast iron would be too heavy.

    oh yeah that is a personal smelter. you put it over the fire and melt tiny amounts of metal in there, then you fashion lovely rings or jewelry or whatever

    It is apparently some type of anvil that you strap to your knee. Maybe for light duty work at trade shows or something?

    its a nutcracker from way back when. you put a pea-can in the opening, place it on your knee and whack it with a hammer.
