What's for dinner??

    My family has crawfish ponds, so I know what to look for. These smelled like the rest. probably did something like this. They probably do not properly purge them before boiling, then use the same water for several batches. chances are we got one of the last batches before they changed the water. Thus giving them a terrible smell, and a marsh water taste. I truly believe I could have done a better job in my sleep.

    I'm going over to my girlfriend's house. She made chili and cornbread. Her chili is average, but her cornbread is outstanding.

    It's good eatin', mind you. I had two helpings. It's just not what I call chili. I mean she puts corn and three kinds of beans and rotel tomatoes in it. But its some kind of chili stew, it just ain't real Texas chili. Not thick enough and it has vegetables in it.

    Tasty though. . .
