Fixing King Crab, Bacon Wrapped Tenderloins, Stuffed Bake Potatoes, Garlic Bread, Salad, Millionaire Brownies with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Wine is a Llano Zinfandel.

Breakfast will be the requisite sausage. eggs, hash browns, toast, and OJ in bed.

How can you tell it's Mother's Day by looking at the menu? Deceks knows...

A Mondavi Reserve just seems wrong with an 8 year old eating fish sticks and Mac & Cheese at the table.:)

    Making us look bad Deceks!

We had roasted chicken, cheddar/broccolli rice casserole and tomato rolls for lunch with my maw-in-law.

Dinner is just us and we're going all out- chilli dogs! Trick is to boil the dogs in beer and onions....

    Mmmmm...

I tried to take my Mom out for dinner for Mothers Day, but she wanted to cook. So I took her to her favorite nursery and let her pick out a bunch of new houseplants.

Then she made roast brisket with mashed potatoes & gravy, asparagus, and green salad. Finest kind.

Had to work again today, so I ate Wendy's (drive through). Customers have no concept of Holidays.

Boiled crawfish, boudin balls and BBQ. Oh yes and a little Jose Cuervo to wash it down, but not for mom.
