Along with "Martin", I did not read all of this either. I don't know how many of you realize what Brady has done. He has had one arm tied behind his back for most of his quality seasons. LSU under brady has been under NCAA sanctions which has deprived LSU of valuable scholarships. We haven't had much depth for most of Brady's tenure because of that. (Which was not Brady's doing) He has still managed to recruit and gather a great deal of talent. We are always competitive. His players are diciplined. If they cannot conform to his style of coaching, they move on. (Which I Love) LSU fans should be grateful to have Brady. If not, ... nevermind...
I agree with this post... Gofer.. I imagine the first thing they teach you in Brady Bashers Anonymous is the word Probation? I can hear it now at Thursday's meeting.. Hello my name is Gofer... "Hi GOFER"... I learned a new word today and it is Probation. I was constantly bashing our coach and when I learned about the word Probation, i began to understand my ill ways. Probation is a sentence given by the NCAA that is meant to suck all the life out of your program. Many turned down this job because of this word. Many programs such as Michigan and Ohio state were given this sentence, but to a far less degree than what LSU got. Probation takes away scholarships... I have no idea how this hurt our program but my feeble mind does not understand this so I bash the coach.... Discipline? What you talking bout Willis? Name TWO players he kicked off the team. I know of 1 because he had dreadlocks. Look at Magnum now, he has the same haircut but he is on the team. You cannot put Brady and Discipline in the same sentence. As far the 9 yrs mostly on probation. Everyone thought that would change after the Stromile and Jabari great season we had. But guess what, Brady came back with 2 wins in the sec the following season. He cant coach period.
