Where's Eric reed?

    He's readig the message boards about how he'll be the number one defensive back in the up coming draft.

    Eric Reid has sucked all season. He takes pitiful angles on plays and he has given up at least 7 touchdowns by taking those poor angles this season alone.

    I agree. He's a good college safety, but I don't understand all the "1st DB taken in the upcoming draft"-talk. With the angles he takes, NFL QBs will eat him alive. Can you imagine him in the backend against a Drew Brees-led passing attack? Yikes!!

    Just an idea..last year he had TM7, Mo, Brandon Taylor, Simon and Losten and the other CB (can't remember his name) all experienced and sharing the effort of making calls and making sure everyone understands the call and is in the right place. This year he is the most experienced and leader with 3 freshmen playing most of the time. Maybe these duties are distracting him from making the little adjustments needed to make the plays.
    Not an excuse but food for thought.
