last was 2005 season in the CapOne... Wisconsin won 24-10. The Wissies also beat Arkansas in the CapOne in 2006 season, 17-14.... and lost to Tennessee, 21-17, in 2007 season Outback. Should be a good matchup.
I think the seeding that the Outback Bowl is most interested in is one of who will sell the most seats. They are in this deal to make money. But I can see your point, kinda like claiming a NC when a school finishes ranked 20th in the major poll behind 4 conference teams, finishing 3rd in the conference, and with 14 other schools having a better record. But that doesn't really fit, we won't be claiming that we went to the Outback Bowl unless we really do go......
