I dont really know much about the Angels other than they arent big on regularly dishing out big bucks. I am assuming his option would be in the vicinity of 15 mil? Would they be willing to sign Vlad and Tex, because it seems like you would take just Tex if you had to make a choice, but even that will be tough. The reason I asked my original question was because I think they should keep this same team for next year even though the natural reaction after a loss is to look for changes.
