After all these games, after all these years, our consectutive sack streak would be broken, at home, vs.....North Texas...??? I certainly would not have bet before the game we wouldn't get at least one sack. Oh well, here's to starting a new streak next week!

ps, anyone know the record for consecutive games with a sack?

    From the game notes:

LSU's streak of consecutive games with a sack ended at 43 games. The last time LSU did not record a sack in a game was against The Citadel on on Sept. 7, 2002.

It was impossible to sack him... he would throw into quadruple coverage before going down...

It's ok. Bama hasn't given up a point in the 3rd quarter all year and we give up a FG to Utah State early in the 3rd....Figures.

He also hardly ever sit back in the pocket, a lot of his throws were to step back then he threw it quickly , kinda hard to get sacked that way even without an o-line

Who can blame him though? Would YOU sit back there waiting for an open reciever knowing that big D-line is gunning to rip your head off?

am i the only one who sees the coorelation between this team and the citadel game... starters arent really up for the game (but roll anyway), backups play early, lots and lots of 3 and outs by the opponents... definate formula for low defensive stats..
