:champs: IMO he can go, i would care less, he is too conservative in the first half. Also, we have too many weapons to just rely on Hester and Flynn. I know we have had alot of drops in the receiving core. But all of the RBs that we have are you kidding me. I have heard that Scott wants to transfer at the end of the year and thats from his family. It's just a matter of priorities. Yes, he has a great team here, and a better team than Michigan has. But a coach of Les' ability thinks he can win anywhere, so that isn't really a factor. If you ever went to a university, LSU, ULL, Nicholls, anywhere... you know the loyalty and love that comes with it. So Les has to decide whether he is willing to leave guaranteed happiness here in BR, or whether he's willing to roll the dice and risk being unhappy in Ann Arbor, but at the same time, the reward would be that it could potential be paradise, b/c he does love Michigan.
Why??? Pretty simple...don't need a long article from the media trying to stir things up to explain it. Put it this way...you are the LSU freak you are. You have your family and friends all in LA and your ties are to LSU. Now, you are a very successful coach at UM winning national championships in the early 90s when LSU wasn't even on the map. LSU want you. What would you do??? Me....Im on the first plane to BR and probably taking a huge pay cut to do it.
