It's not going to be played.

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

I don't think it will either. It's not in Florida's best interest to play this game.

And looking at the available dates, ours either. In a different way though.

I want to say it could cause us a lot more harm than good in the long run. NOT playing it could, too. HOW in the hell do we always seem to wind up in screwy deals like this? To think we could play Bama, win and still not be able to be the SEC West rep.

Because Florida doesn't want to play the game.

I thought Gary did well in the interview. Vern said nothing.

He kind of reminds me of an old drunk guy who is ready to retire anyway.

Verne reminds me of an old senile guy, drunk or not. Gary was really on to something when he threw the "compliment" out about Sankey putting an emphasis on the health of players, then he zinged him about how making LSU plays three SEC road games in 12 days would be counter to that emphasis. But he then let Sankey off the hook by not pursuing it.

I suspect the producer was yelling in his ear to cut the interview short & get back to the game action. Sankey wasn't saying anything meaningful.
