I thought Gary did well in the interview. Vern said nothing. He kind of reminds me of an old drunk guy who is ready to retire anyway.
Verne reminds me of an old senile guy, drunk or not. Gary was really on to something when he threw the "compliment" out about Sankey putting an emphasis on the health of players, then he zinged him about how making LSU plays three SEC road games in 12 days would be counter to that emphasis. But he then let Sankey off the hook by not pursuing it.
I suspect the producer was yelling in his ear to cut the interview short & get back to the game action. Sankey wasn't saying anything meaningful.
