Why upests happen....

A good team comes in from a small conference. Fans and players assume a win and bring no intensity to the game. It is almost impossible jump-start intensity during the game with an underdog.

An out of conference opponent has very unusual style of play that is not properly prepared for...run and shoot, option, etc.

An inferior team from the same conference is taken for granted and/or is scheduled before or after a big game.

An inferior team has superior coaching, etc., etc....

    The list goes on but...

LSU is clearly the stronger, faster team. Saban is at the very, very least equal to Riley. This is the season opener for the defending champs at home. ESPN is on campus. The Beavers represent the Pac-10 and by proxy, USC. I think everybody is pumped up and ready. Unless something is very wrong with the mindset of the team, I just cannot see an upset happening.

    Just joking

I see no upset chance here, either
