1. I did a google search for SEC basketball championships, trying to dig up a little history.

I was impressed when I clicked on the Wikipedia link and they already show LSU as 2006 champions. That site was updated very quickly.

  2. funny how they have us as 2006 football sec champions....they must know something.....hurries to bodog.com to the house on lsu...
  3. I did not see that. Hmm... I heard on the news that Wikipedia had unreliable info. Then when I clicked the link and saw the info updated so quickly, I said to my self, hmm.... maybe this site is ok.

Now that you have informed me about the faulty listing, i will not trust Wikipedia information again.

Does anyone know a link where I can get real info on SEC Championship history?

P.S. I like the way that Wikipedia is set up. It needs to be accurate though.
  4. i mean i can understand if they messed up by meaning 2006 as the 2005 west???
  5. the site is amazing...

the day Kornheiser was put on MNF, I went look it up to see how old he was, and they already had him as the MNF announcer
  6. you gotta fix it when you see a problem. usually the mistakes dont stay there long, becasue wikipedia freaks are looking over the list of changes made.
  7. Wikipedia allows anyone to make changes to the information contained therein...
  8. A national football championship in 1908? That gives us 3. You don't here much about that one, I suppose because college football was in its infancy then and winning a national championship was not the same then as it is now.
  9. i realize that, thats is why i told the guy to fix it.

but even if he doesnt, usually somebody will, because like i said, wikipedia fans are looking over the logs of changes.
  10. Wasn't talking to you.. was talking to JoeReckless who was addressing the inaccuracy of the information on Wikipedia because it seemed that there was a lack of understanding on his part about how it worked.
