Yeah I know there is a thread on here praising this activity by Orgeron and his team. Just saw it again on the Cox replay. Jumping around in their tunnel.

To me, that type of activity by the head coach is why they only have three wins. Like his team, he is also out of control. Anyone at the game see his reaction after the review reversed the ruling on the field late in the game?

He ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. Arms in air, high stepping, running in circles, chest bumping everyone near him.

We all know how the game went after that. Hate to say it, but I just wanted to see him get punched in the face last night.

How bout dem wild boys! Losers as always.

i think you need to show some emotion. I mean O's enthusiasm might have been a bit too much but I doubt its the reason for the fall of Ole Miss football..If you can get a 3 win team that fired up i'm impressed...Somedays I wish Les showed some emotion...He has had some spurts though (UT)

I agree, there is a limit but Muschamp and Carrol, for example, I like to see it.

Emotion can carry you only so far, at some point you have to execute and play the game. In the end LSU made the plays it had to in order to win, Coach O's emotions brought him from the Penthouse to the Outhouse, ... yaw, yaw, yaw,yaw,yaw,yaw... yaw... Ole Miss lost !

I was waiting for him to fall over and start flopping around like a fish out of water. I think it's great he can keep his team motivated but you have to admit he looked pretty spaz.

Coach O's emotion is his best quality and the reason he was such a good assistant. Even though they only have 3 wins, they have played a bunch of close games this year & are definitely improved from last year. He came out with a great game plan against us, but the reason it was so close was because he had his team hyped up & ready to play. Without his emotion, this game wouldn't have gone to overtime.

Every coach has his style. Personally I think Coach O is a little over the top, but if it works for his team, why not. They were almost pumped up enough to beat a flat LSU team.

Bill Arnsparger was the calmest sideline coach I've ever seen, but his players were always ready to play and played hard. Nick was a cool professional right up to the point that he lost it and screamed like a madman. Les is a lot like Cholly Mac. I've never seen him blister a player publicly, but he'll rip into an official when he has to.

I had the coach O song cued up on the stereo. Every time they would show that idiot on the side-line we would play the yawyawyawyaw...football

No question its what kept them in the game and gave them a shot to win. However, that approach will not work over a 12 game schedule. You need great coaching and execution to have success over an entire season. I'm not saying you shouldn't also play with emotion but that will only take you so far. I also agree that Ole Missy is improved from last year and obviously wanted to pay us back for last year's beat down.

FRIDAY: I don't know how I feel about the game yet. I'm hoping our team simply lost focus Saturday and that we haven't regressed. Arkansas has everything to play for including an outside shot at the MNC and they rarely lose a game in Little Rock. Our run defense has to step up big and play much better than we did 'gainst OM for us to be in the game. I honestly don't think the game will be close and that it will be a big win for whoever comes out on top. LSU 24 Arky 10
