Definitely down. UW is a better program than Oregon St.

Alvarez must be overbearing. Why would anyone leave to go to Oregon State and Corvallis.

Exactly what I was thinking. He must have been feeling uncomfortable, or just was unhappy there.

Any bearing on the "hiccup" against Ohio State?

Seems like an odd hire to me. How does Big 10 football translate to the PAC?

What I'm hearing is there was friction in the administration. Something possibly about academics or something like that. If it was that then I understand. If he can achieve moderate success it should springboard him into a better gig soon.

Sometimes it's more about the coach and less about the school. Dale Jr can only go so fast in a pinto.

Let's not forget Anderson's style of offense isn't the style ole' Barry prefers for the Badgers. His scheme is more of a PAC type of offense. @shane0911 has this one correct, IMO. It's more about the coach...

In the end we're still talking about a coach leaving the second best program in the B1G to coach the second best program in Oregon.
