Tiger Woods lost his bid to break Bryon Nelson's 11-game PGA record when he missed a 4 foot putt. He neglected to repair his ball mark which threw the ball off line. Nick O'Hern won the Match Play Championship with a 12 foot putt. What a heartbreaker. I have always said no one would break Nelson's record, but I was beginning to have second thoughts about that prognostication until today. Wood's remaining tournaments up to the Masters are ones he has traditionally done well at. So I thought his chances were beginning to look good. If he had only noticed that ball mark.

Yea, but his PGA Tour stroke play event streak is still intact at 7*

Tiger never misses those clutch 4 footers anymore it seems. It was a shocker to say the least.
