I think we're looking at a cold January day in Dallas if we lose the SECCG. I hate the Cotton Bowl for that reason. Dallas sucks in January.

Yeah leave it to Glenn "Village Idot" Guilbeau to make this prediction. If something can be said or spun negatively toward LSU this guy will NEVER pass up the opportunity to do so.
Since the SEC supplies so many teams to these big time bowls, I believe the SEC office does have a good deal of power over the bowl selection outcome. I'll be pissed if they let LSU at 10 and 2 fall to the Independence Bowl.
It's funny how time changes perspective. I can remember a time not so terribly long ago when we were tickled silly to be getting an invite to play in Shreveport.
