Check out this article on the Elite 8 "hallowed sports institutions on your must-see list". Notice any familiar names? :lsug:

The author of this article certainly knows what he is talking about. Tiger Stadium is BY FAR the best place to watch a college football game.

Only problem is he suggests someone go to an LSU vs Troy St game. No way you get the same experience as you would at an SEC game or against a bigger name team. Death Valley is much much different for a big game even the tailgating turns it up a notch. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Wow! This is quite an honor!

Boys, we have ARRIVED! Tiger Stadium is nationally renowned.

But he was wrong about the date of the Earthquake Game. It was 1988, not '86. I was a freshman at LSU in the fall of '88--so it's forever plastered in my memory.

He mentioned the Troy State( any cream puff) game I'm sure simply because it's much easier to get a ticket.

All great choices except for Wimbledon. I like tennis and all but if I had 8 stadiums to go to that would definitely not be one of my choices.
