:geaux: Agree. We'll be just fine whether he comes to LSU or not. The sun will come up Thursday morning in either case.:hihi: :LSU231:

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

If his father said that about LSU(I did not hear it but plenty did), it sounds as if they have had a problem all along. Or the recent Benton speculation coming to an end has turned them off and they really don't want him to play with Benton.

Certainly seems to me that he is not going to LSU at this point, and I have to commend the family on doing a pretty good snow job for a looooong time if true. Everyone I have talked to from up there really saw P&G. I still don't believe the stated lies about the #2 spot, it just doesn't add up to me. And if that is not true, then I am much more disappointed that it is being said, than I am in RR going elsewhere.

Now that it is out there in the public domain, it will hurt us, true or not.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

I find it funny that we are competing against two of the slimiest, most full of sh!t coaches that you can find for this kid, yet somehow WE end up on the defensive? Somethin' definitely ain't right.

Your son is considering playing for Nick Saban, of all people, but you have the nerve to publicly express concern that he will be lied to HERE?!

Also, how unfamiliar with recruiting do you have to be to think that you're not getting lip service from every potential suitor? It's like this in all walks of life.

Nothing is being said on the Gump side and I am sure Finebaum would have been all over this.

TexasTigers Are You With Me ?

Personally I dont see how LSU telling someone.
"Your son has to compete" will hurt us.
What am I missing here. Did LSU (If this is all true) do anything by saying "Hey we want you here but you will have to compete as a TRUE FRESHMAN" because LSU is stacked at WR ?
If so I am fine with it. I wish him well but i am not crushed because someones dad decided against LSU because he was upset he son would have to "win" his job.
Or am I missing something ?
I mean did Bama or OU tell him something different ?
If so, its kind of sad. Sounds like "Telling you what you want to hear"

If he wants a piece of the Big XII action, then you can mark it down that the kid wants no part of competing.

Almost sounds like they wanted a guaranteed spot.

Thing is, WR is one of those positions where depth isn't as critical. Hell, we have 3, 4, even 5 wideouts lined up on a lot of our formations. It's not like the dude wouldn't be seeing the field. All he'd have to do is get open. If he can't do it as a 3, then he can't do it as a 1 or 2.
