a comment that miles made during an interview during two-a-days... "He is a big physical reciever... but (an exasperated sounding but) he needs to get it going.. get into the grove" and that he needs "to develop his work habits and his view of football"... perhaps he hasnt been playing because he doesnt deserve to play? I dunno..

Well he's a dual sport athlete, and I think maybe the coaches wish he would focus on football more... That is my take from those statements.

I think I had drunk myself into a very deep, dark hole by that point.

Nothing wrong w/ sitting a guy at the coach's discretion. Much like the bitter pill of benching Addai b/c of the fumbling. It will make them better players.

his play in HS has nothing to do with whether he's a gimmick NOW or not.

you act like i said his scholarship should be dropped.

What has he done THIS SEASON to make you think he's a good WR?

Then again, Miles did say at arounbd that same time that XC particpated in spring practice more than they had anticipated. So I don't think that is what the coaches are thinking at all, they all know that XC has one hell of a future in track and maybe they are glad he has decided to play football too.

That is an outstanding idea. I wish I had come up with it. No, wait, I wish Lou Tepper had come up with it!
