1. He say they ain't gonna practice none dis week and ain't gonna get to play in the spring game dis week end. You know, the one where the old guys shake your hand and slip you some sweets. :hihi:
Croom added additional penaltys for the players:

Each will be banned from "off-campus activities" at Level III Civic Sports & Cultural Center. Each will be forced to abide by an 11 p.m. curfew through the end of the spring semester. And each will undergo counseling, specifically on-campus sensitivitity training.

Croom said the players will be subjected to more strenuous workouts. "They're not going to be on vacation, you know."
  2. aka "The Tennessee Standard for Student Athletes"
  3. I thought being in Starkvegas was a vacation !
  4.
you mean... 'The Florida State standard for student athletes'
  5. Well, I've been behind on sports outside of LSU and Nicholls lately because of work and school... what brought this on, is it just the state of the program, or was it something else that initiated the penalties?

I think coach Croom is a great coach and I love how he goes about it the old-fashioned way and how he doesn't let the fact that he's coaching at State get in the way of his coaching style...

  8.

    Yea, what a great coach!
  9. Croom is a fool for not dismissing these players. It sends the message that anything goes at State.
  10. Okay so I detract what I said about him being old-fashioned... Wow. I really need to either quit work or school to stay on top of these things.

Thanks for the link Okie :thumb:
