1. We will not promote Mallory simply to get a commitment from TJ Bryant.

All of the recruits are being told that Mallory is a very possible replacement for Pelini. Whether it happens or not, it helps keep recruits' relationship with the staff.
  2. thats stating the obvious...however, no, I dont think we tell recruits this unless it's a strong possibility. that would be just silly and destructive.
  3. So does UT Austin, they are interviewing him.

  4. I don't post much, but this one is something that I know about. John Tenuta is the best DC in the country. Make no mistake about it. I coach in Georgia and watch him work up close during pre-season and spring practices. He's unbelievable. No one will be complaining this time next year. What he does with Tech's talent is amazing.
  5. 4 posts in 4 yrs....see you next year!
  6. :DSo, what you're saying is....
  7. Georgia Tech's recruiting classes are filled with 2 star and 3 star players (only one 4 star defensive player, a DB, since 03).

Getting the most of the talent he is handed is definitely a fitting description of the job he has done.
  8. That would raise the question for me as to what his role\effectiveness in recruiting is.
  9. You know GT is gettin UGA's leftovers....
  10. I don't think it's a direct reflection on Tenuta's recruiting. GT isn't exactly a "hot spot".

Their campus is smack dab in the heart of downtown Atlanta and in a not so nice area.

Exactly WHAT has GT done in the ACC (let alone on a national level) in terms of football success since the early '90's?
