I was at the Harvest Festival last Friday night at The Bistro in Hayward, CA... http://www.the-bistro.com/ Drank many styles of AWESOME wet hop beers (very much like an India Pale Ale) that 10 of the local breweries made just for this festival... :thumb: This bar is like a SF bar and is only 10 miles north of my house (SF is 35 miles away)... Great live music & great fresh and bottled (mostly Belgian ales) beers... The Double IPA festival every February is great, too... Most Double IPAs come in at approx. 8% and will KICK YO @SS... The local beer scene is one of the reasons it would be so hard to leave... Along with the food & music scenes... :grin: DISCLAIMER: If'n YOU'RE buyin' I'll drink ANY beer... If'n I'M buyin', well, THAT'S a DIFFERENT story.... :grin: I AM NOT A BEER SNOB.
Seen her drink margaritas, daquiris and get slobber knocked on Mike's Hard Lemonde. She's never touched my crown but then again she knows better.
