What seems to be lost in the return of JJis Zack Mettenberger's roll now. Since he played in the Northwestern State game we've burned his redshirt. Unless JL or JJ go down does anyone think he'll see the field again this season?

Also, it was my understanding when ZM came here he had 3 seasons to play 2. If this is correct than Zack was the one who in the end will be taking it in the shorts!:rolleye33:

He doesn't have a redshirt opportunity, he has three years to play three years. He still has two years to start.

Good. I was under the impression he did play in at least one game at Georgia and the year at JC would also count. So he only had 2 years elegibility left.
    Thanks.:thumb:

Mett is just a sophmore . he will be our starting QB the next two years , then i would imagine Rivers would be next .

All of this assumes Les doesn't redshirt Jefferson.

Les has already said JJ will play this year, probably even this week.

Yeah I don't think there is any question in the coach's minds who is going to be the man next year unless rivers becomes his brother.

Ah, my bad then.. so the year he spent on the fb team at UGA doesn't count?

No, he redshirted at UGA. Played Juco one year and has 3 years to play 3 at LSU.

Most straight Juco's have 3 years to play 2 meaning they have a redshirt year still available.
