5/23 and 24 MS fish

Fished with a buddy yesterday and today early before the crowds got to bad. Wound up with a 2 day count of 50 specs from 13.5-22 inches, 60-70 white trout(not fishing for them), 1 slot red, and a lone flounder.

 

That's a lot of cleaning someone will be doing...

 

Nah its done. just under 2 hours worth.

That's a mess of fish right there and I don't mind saying that as long as none of it goes to waste, you are the man.

You ever smoke any of that? I have been cold smoking a bunch of halibut lately which, is tits but that catch is a whole different thing.

 

Mostly artificial but these were about half and half plastics and live minnows.

 

It most def all gets eaten. Got 5 houses on the hill here to keep fed so it goes fast. We eat the meat and roe and then the heads and back bones get put in the crab pots to use as bait for the crabs.

Only time I smoke any of it is when I am making smoked trout dip which I do maybe a half dozen times a year.
