    The Ferguson Shooting.

The fact that it's taking so long makes me think there's a lot more to this story than has been made public. Well, maybe not A LOT but some something(s) significant.

I'm thinking they're also dragging it out to put as much distance between the two events as possible.

I posted in the other thread that there won't be an indictment. You are right with there being things the public hasn't seen. Not sure they ever will.

Are we talking charges for murder? Violation of civil rights? I would say it's likely a grand jury might find enough evidence to move forward with a trial. Venue would be something to consider as well.

There isn't going to be an indictment. The fuzz can legally murder.

    Don't go complicate this. :D

And yes, we -like the entire @%&#×€* Nation-are talking murder. But take a stab at either.

If they do their jobs properly and go strictly on the evidence presented to them, they could indict or not indict. We don't know what the evidence says yet.

But grand juries are fickle. They may ignore the evidence and indict simply to appease the protestors, quell the disturbances, and let a trial sort it all out. On the other hand, this grand jury is largely white. The black population of Ferguson has been sending a pointed message in the streets. These jurists might want to send a message back.

    You never know.

It also depends on what the DA wants. There is a reason for the saying..."a good DA can indict a sandwich." Unfortunately it is a political decision as well. It may be that a trial is needed to clear the air. An acquittal of the policeman based on evidence presented in an open trial is better for all than no indictment in a secret proceeding.
I am curious to learn if the reports of Donald Wilson having severe injuries to his face are accurate or not.
