So you know what this country needs? More money in politics. The highest court in the nation is bought and paid for. You know while people are all pissed about Obamacare and Obama himself, seems like no one is outraged about this. The best government money can buy.
This is another issue where my conservative/libertarian viewpoints conflict with the norm. This is not a 1st amendment free speech issue to me. It is all about the very rich hedging their bets by giving to as many candidates as they want to. You never want to say you didn't support the winner. And I do believe that that money can and will be funneled to a candidate in an illegal way.
What this basically says is the more money you donate to campaigns the more American you are. Money is not speech, corporations are not people. This is a travesty and will ensure that billionaires will run amuck while the rest of us are upheld to their law.
