He says Big Ben not a top 5 QB in this era. He's right, but why even put that out there? Maybe it's a way to motivate himself, but I hate shit like this when we have so much on the line. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...dan-says-rank-ben-roethlisberger-top-five-era
His douche knows no bounds. Every time he attempts to break the broom over his knee, his shoulder has another excuse to suck.
The more power you give to stuff like this (KOD), the more "power" it has over you. Don't let it have free rent in your head...
I wouldn't rate him as a top 5 of this era either. There's Brady, Brees, Peyton Manning, and Rogers the first 4. Is Brett Favre still part of this era? Phillip Rivers has had a HOF career mostly with bad teams and is having a great season this year. I'm tempted to put Patrick Mahomes in that group based on his amazing abilities but there isn't a large enough body of work at this point. I would put Roethlisberger just below a top 5 rating but higher than Eli Manning.
Nope, it has no power over me. I have zero effect on the outcome of the game. Just not a big fan of this kind of thing, As a lifelong Saints fan, I know all too well how shit can come out of nowhere and blow up in your face; metaphorically speaking. Especially when things are going good. I agree with that. But there's no reason for him to be spouting off about it.
Eli is a unique case. His "good" is so clutch. His "bad" is absolutely horrible. Hard to value him. He DEFINITELY wouldn't have 2 rings without his fantastic play in his playoff runs (2007 and 2011). His teams around him also rose to the occasion in those postseason games as well. I'm definitely torn. His 2011 season was pretty damn strong too, not just the playoffs.
Are they Hall of Famers? I don't think so, but if I had to choose between the 2, I would pick Roethlisberger over Manning.
