I don't know if this has been posted yet, but hey, its great anyways! In ESPN.com's Heisman Watch there are only two teams that have two players under consideration. Who is that you ask? LSU!!!!!!! ...and Georgia. I think that says a whole lot about the SEC, don't you? JV and Corey Webster are nominated for us, while (you guessed it) David Greene and David Pollack are nominated for UGA.

Yeah, I don't particularly understand it either. Especially since he didn't do much last year to bolster his campaign.

Maybe the voters could give the Heisman to Greene AND Pollack. I'm sure the media would love the boyhood buddies to make a joint speech at the Downtown Athletic Club.

But wait--some stats to go along with the hype would help their cause...

And Jason White has been exposed (like so many other Heisman QB's). He shouldn't be on the list.

David Pollock could break both legs and an arm on the first play from scrimmage this year, be lost for the season, and still get votes for the Heisman. For some reason, the media just eats this guy up.

I hate to say it, but it might not be such a bad thing that Pollack is getting attention for the Heisman. The Heisman is an award usually reserved for QB's and RB's and to see a non-skill player recieving consideration is a good thing, not that Pollock deserves it. There are certainly other defensive linemen more derserving than the hype-machine better known as Pollock, but at least the "leader board" is a bit more diversified.
