News reports are saying the Feds are now investigating allegations of a cover up in the J. Winston rape allegations.

I know FSU wanted him cleared, otherwise they lose the National Championship, but do you honestly think there was a cover up. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but if it did take place there's going to be some legal troubles for some people. Anyone think he really did rape the woman in question? And how likely would it be if a cover up was found to take place, does he get charged?

What changed your mind? I haven't seen much on this other than what the news said yesterday.

Seems to me after reading that, the girl was G'd. And after the incident, the campus police and city police did everything to give Winston a heads up in order to protect himself, amd then proceeded to not only bundle the entire investigation, but used some intimidation techniques to try and convince her to either not report it or to convince her nothing had happened.

All in the name of a National Championship.

If a lot of this is true, FSU stands to lose many millions in federal money the University recieves annually. After reading that story I see your point. Seems a lot of things point to his guilt.

Anyone else interested, here's the story:

i think the other girl who said he was aggressive towards her during an encounter kind of sealed it for me, she could be lying to jump on the bandwagon, but she didnt say he raped her or she didnt file charges, just spoke on his MO.

And the fact she was an A student who dropped out, left town, and had to seek out couseling kinda lends her credibility as well. The story is unbelieveable. This story sheds a lot more light on what happened than was previously told.

its a failure of upbringing if you feel the need to drug and rape anyone.

Darren Sharper. What the hell is wrong with that guy? A Saints hero turns out to be a serial rapist. You wouldn't think a guy with all he had going for him would have to drug women to get laid
