The play by play announcer on ESPN is absolutly horrible. I have noticed, during the past several years, that he makes more mistakes than anyone in sports broadcasting, more than sommerall, more than Musberger. He has a nice voice, and is not a bad announcer when he doesn't make mistakes, but it is hard to watch, because every single series, he messess up at least once. I would venture to say he made 15-20 mistakes last night. Horrible

Boy, did Micheal Clayton play well on special teams, or What. That hit was just about the hardest I have seen on years. Oh boy!!

LSU's running game really wasn't working tonight, don't let the stats mislead you. Aside from a few big runs by toe, he was completly shut down. I don't necassarily think it was his fault, because he never got any real chance to make big runs, and when he got the chance, he made the plays.

Dominick Davis played well at RB. Whatever happened to him playing DB? I havn't heard anything about that in weeks.

Overall, it was a rather boring game, with no drama. I was confident LSU would win the whole game, and they never gave me a reason to worry. Just the kind of ho-hum win the tigers needed.

That was an AWESOME hit, Hood was nervous the rest of the game and after that hit made several more mistakes. I don't think he could shake that hit by a Freshman Wide Receiver. Fanatastic play.

I disagree, I thought the big plays came and with Rohan scrambling to pick up needed first downs and DD, as you pointed out, running well when called upon that we certainly made Auburn respect the run and that opened up the passing game.

You are correct that LSU had the game well in hand, especially through out the second half. I was never nervous either, but I was never certain until the clock expired!! :D

Great game, now on to Atlanta to face a beatable Tennessee squad!!
