I don't know about Stanford and their water polo but 7 teams ranked in the top 5 nationally is pretty darned good. I think we want Skip to stay around for a long time.

 

I think you have to give Mark Emmert a lot of credit here also.

watch as AD. To say that the man knows a thing or two about taking programs to the next level would be a gross understatement.

 

#4 in gymnastics......wow.......a guy i knows daughter just got a scholarship to lsu for gymnastics......at first i thought it was like i remembered (not real great) but they must really be working on it (some schools have stopped their programs because they don't have enough money)........way to geaux lsu.......

LSU Gymnastics has been in the top 15 consistantly for years now, DD has been doing good.:geaux: :lsug:

 

I brought my daughter to LSU vs Auburn in gymnastics last week and will be going to watch them beat Ohio Friday. Excellant to watch. These girls do things that have hospital wrote all over them. That's extreme sports for me.

The rankings go UCLA, Bama, Georgia, LSU. Way to go SEC.

 

There was a great article in the TP the other day about the state of LSU athletics and it was linked on here somewhere I believe.

Emmert is responsible for Saban. Without that foresight, the rest of those rankings are much more insignificant.
